Job Summary:
The person will be responsible for developing and optimizing website templates. The job involves carrying out HTML, CSS and Javascript optimization, feature addition/ enrichment in existing templates, creation of new templates and template related support.
Qualification:
BE/ B.Tech from a reputed institutes (IIT/ NIT).
Experience:
- 2-4 years of hands on experience in web site development/ portal management/ web page performance optimization solutions.
- Detailed knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java Script/ Jscript.
- Good experience of web page optimization tools e.g. YSLOW/ Page Speed.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Process driven approach as the core of addressing the issue.
- Working knowledge of any programming language would be added advantage.
- Work on template based website/ web-catalog technology, including page size & loading speed optimization tools e.g. YSLOW/ PageSpeed.
- Addition of new feature in existing templates.
- Quality control of templates as per pre-defined process.
- Research on web page optimization to identify new tools and technologies.
- Serve as the point of contact for template/ website support for internal and external template users.
